If you set Spike Start SL to true the EA will use the Spike Start as an anchor for SL calculations.
Example:
You receive a SELL signal on Natural Gas at 2.960. You enter the market at 2.942.
Your StopPips settings are 5 and StopTime 3.
With Spike Start SL = false you would place the SL 5 ticks below your entry price at 2.937.
With Spike Start SL= true you place the SL 5 ticks below the spike start at 2.955.
Pro-Tip
If you set Spike Start SL= true and StopPips = 0 you will always place your SL to the Spike Start. Remember though that this way you can’t foresee how big your initial SL will be.
